I was born and raised in Mt. Shasta, California. My first time on the water was with my Dad at the young age of 2 months old. From there I grew up on the river rafting until it further developed my passion and I got into a hard shell at the age of 15. You could say my addiction only exploded from there. Joined on board with Shasta Boyz Productions at the tender age of 16 and found a passion for filming. At age 17 I attended World Class Kayak Academy where I was able to develop my skills and meet like-minded athletes. Currently I am focusing more on the film aspect of expedition kayaking and the adventure that takes place on the water, rather than the competition scene. In the summer of 2009 I edited my first feature film titled “Wet Dreams”. This year (2010) Wet Dreams toured with Huckin Huge’s new film HAYMAKER. I am currently working on my next film, Slippery When Wet, to be released summer 2011. For me the experience of traveling down a river with your friends is what its all about. The river doesn’t have to be steep or gnarly just enjoying the adventure of the traveling downstream into the unknown.
