I have been lucky enough to paddle with my brother since we were young, and I consider myself very fortunate to have started as early as I did. My brother now has a posse of rugrats that he started paddling with far younger than we were in our beginning. It has been an indescribable pleasure to create a kayak that makes paddling fun, and safe, for his kids. He wrote this article recently about his experiences paddling with children, including his own, and using the Remix 47 to help them love kayaking.

Viamala Schlucht
Die Viamala Schlucht ist eine der beeindruckendsten Schluchten in Graubünden. Ein Steg führt Touristen zu der schmalsten Stelle der Klamm. Mit den Kajaks ist es leider Verboten, dort einzubooten. Wir müssen bei einer Parkbucht etwa 100 Meter unter der Touristenattraktion zum Hinterrhein absteigen. Der Weg führt querfeldein über Geröll hinunter zum Bach. Man muss extrem aufpassen, um nicht mit einer losen Steinplatte den Weg nach unten zu beenden, für die meisten war das der härteste Teil der Befahrung.

My life has been chaos as usual rolling into midterms but last weekend was the Brush Creek race outside Kernville, CA. The race went well with some fast racers laying it down and I ended up taking 6th place in the short boat division off the couch from pushin pencils.
