A wiseman once said, “not all churches have roofs”. In this episode watch as the Bomb Flow crew finds their own meaning of “church” amidst huge waterfalls and flooded rivers in the mighty PNW. The crew is blessed with a successful huckfest on some of Washington and Oregon’s biggest and baddest waterfalls.
Outlet, Toketee, Abiqua, Upper North, and Metlako.
Here is a quick clip all slow-mo’d of me going off Metlako Falls at super high flow!!!! I haven’t held my paddle on this drop since Spring 2008, but the pool was just too big and dangerous to be paddle-less. Thanks to Devin and Airborn for posting this sick shot. BROWN!
Arriving a few days before the Little White Salmon race I was stoked to get on some new whitewater and rivers for once so that was my goal on this little viaje. Day 1; I met up with Ryan Lucas a good Kiwi buddy from last season and my boys the Wells, Mr. Zunders, Fry and Ollin from Bozeman. We hit Summit creek’s skate park drop and got some good footage and pics from that day…I was pretty worked from arriving at 9am after the all night drive from Eastern BC.
Out here in the C.R.G. we have been getting on some serious good as of late! Meeting up with Steve Fisher at the Frontier Premiere in Portland we decided to join forces to make a small experimental 3D movie…Some of friends from all over the globe came in for this project and now we are in the meat of setting up shots and trying to pull off a cheeper, yet still very professional 3D kayak movie. Our first few days have past and we are getting some very cool looking stuff. Bryan Dorr joined us at Eagle Creek to take some photos on Punchbowl and Metlako falls. Enjoy some of Bryan’s shots from the day. Thanks man!
