Mexico

Mariann Sæther posted a great blog about our last trip to Mexico.

Oh mine, I knew I would love Mexico. Warm weather, friendlly people, amazing food, and great whitewater!

Teaming up with kiwi brothers James and Mike Dawson, all-time good friend Benjamin Hjort and Germans Anne Hubner and Seppi Strohmeier, and Piahmin (Little German), we were set for a great 12 days in the country. Our sweet little rental car brought us safely from Mexico City to the hopping town of Tlapacoyan, and I am way impressed by Rallydriver James and his handling of speedbumps with the lowest car ever! We even managed to fit 7 boats on the roof one day, with 7 people inside it, without roofracks. That is what I call professionals, ha ha!

Tomata 1

Mariann Sæther and me are just back from a 2 weeks trip in Mexico. Fantastic land for paddling, nice, clean river, good locations, and awesome waterfalls. Mexico is my new destination. On our last day we ran Tomata 1. A must to do if you are in to waterfall running. You can see the footage of Mariann running the drop on NRK TV. Broadcast, 01.12.2010 9 pm.

Also fui spoass.

A trip to Norway

After a long period being only shuttle-bunny ’cause I injured my ellbow, I finally could get back into my Jefe and go kayaking. Therefore my friends and I decided to go to Norway  to have some good times like in the year before. Here are some pictures of our trip – hope you like them. We ran rivers like the Stordalselva, Raundalselva, Lower Rauma, Kleivelvi, Tysselva and many more. Thanks to my friends for this great journey!
