Sh#t has been hectic in the SBP world lately. After finishing a master copy of Slippery When Wet in late July, I was barley able to get DVDs August 4th before flying to the Outdoor Retailer show on August 5th. After the epic whirl wind of making some great connections and a wicked bender with the boyz, I rallied back to Mt. Shasta to start getting ready to move down to Santa Cruz for school.
This summer a lot of European Liquidlogic team members spent some time in Norway. I was there myself to make an article for the magazines. The article will be about the Sjoa valley, check your favorite mag to see some cool photos and have infos about that paddling paradise. But as we were there we went for 2 days with Mariann Saether and Ron fisher to the Rauma.
We joined there a group of kiwi paddlers and spent one of the nicest day of the season. But enough said here are a few photos of the Rauma:
Austria is a beautiful country but there some areas which a more beautiful. One of these areas is Ost-Tirol esp. the Defereggen valley. It is surrounded by the national park Hohe Tauern and offers some remote whitewater in a narrow gorge on the waterfall run as well as roadside runs on the standard and tunnel section.
