We have had a lot of people ask about a bigger Speedloader throw bag so here is the first prototype. In this bag we have a 75 foot long 3/8″ rope. This rope is just polypro for the testing of the pattern but we hope to offer a high strength version of this bag. Please no comments on the weak throwing attempts.

Saalach Teufelsschlucht – Ein Wintertraum

Germany, Sunday morning 9 a.m.: “The level is low, but the sun is shining…we go kayaking…”. My buddies were not very enthusiastic when I called them, which isn’t astonishing when it is 26°F outside, but once on the river the Saalach was really enjoyable.
The winter atmosphere in the gorge was overwhelming and let us forget the low temperature. With me on the water were Nils Dippon, Martin Kaltenbach and Dager Dave (Team Stohlquist), who just returned from the White Nile a couple of days ago…a temperature difference from approx. 86°F.
Because the level was that low we could run the whole Teufelsschlucht section without scouting, so we were able to enjoy the ride as a kind of “winterdream”
Enjoy the pics.

Woody, Will, Jeff Paine from American Whitewater, and I headed up to Frankfort Kentucky for the National Paddling Film Festival and on Saturday there was a race and club paddle down the Elkhorn River near the festival. Woody and Will decided to race on Versa Boards. It was a fun day. The fellas did great. Thanks to all the folks who put on a great event up there. Shane
